Groton Democratic Town Caucus & Meeting

On March 30 at 3 p.m., Democrats will convene at the Legion Hall, 75 Hollis Street to elect seven delegates and four alternates to represent Groton at the 2025 State Democratic Convention that will adopt the state party platform.

Individuals aged 16 and above who have registered or pre-registered as Democrats in Groton by Saturday, March 29, 2025 may vote and be elected as delegates or alternates during the caucus. Youth (age 16 to 35), people with disabilities, people of color, veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community not elected as delegates or alternates are encouraged to apply to be add-on delegates at the caucus or by visiting massdems.org/massdems-convention. The 2025 Convention will be in person at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA on Saturday, September 13, 2025.

The monthly meeting of the Groton Democratic Town Committee will follow at about 4 pm. The topic will be supporting the local immigrant community. Special guests will be state Rep. Danillo Sena, and representatives from Ayer Neighbors Supporting and Welcoming Each Resident (ANSWER)  Owen Shuman and Lois Young .
