On Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., the Democratic State Committee will be holding a caucus training for chairs and participants. It will be held in the community room at the Ayer Police Department, 52 Park Street. State Committee members Tom McGrath (Pepperell) and Jennifer Mieth (Groton) will conduct the training to go over the rules, the process and what's new this year for caucuses around the state that will elect delegates and alternates to the State Convention on June 1-2, 2018 in Worcester. This will be an endorsing convention and candidates for constitutional offices must receive the support of 15% of the convention delegates to appear on the Sept. 4 Primary ballot.
